Originally going live on March 8, 2024, this video is a unique blend of technical information and advertising. The goals of the video are to showcase the ease of ordering the product relative to other custom wheelchair backrests and to educate medical professionals on the dimensions and measurements they'll need to order the correct sizing for their patients' needs.
Ki Mobility's engineering team provided the CAD models for the backrests, which I then brought into SOLIDWORKS Visualize to texture and animate. I then brought the animations into Adobe Premiere Pro to bring the clips together, and I used Adobe After Effects to add in the text and effects. The "Etac" title and end cards were provided by Ki Mobility's parent company, Etac.
The Little Wave Arc is a pediatric tilt-in-space wheelchair. Ki Mobility identified placement of users' center of gravity as a detail that medical teams struggle with due to the product's unique design, resulting in patients' weight being distributed too far forward for the chair to function well. Ki Mobility asked that I create a video illustrating how to properly align a user's weight with the base of the chair.
